What is a greatest commen factor?!?!? sorry i may sound stupid cause i keep asking a bunch of questions but home school is really hard cause there aint no teachers to show u what to do!

Greatest Common Factor
Here's an Example:
If you have 12 and 18 you find the factors first
12 {1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12}
18 {1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 18}
So you have all of both of their factors, So you see which is the greatest factor that they share
In this case it is six, as you can see from the set c:
