What were the positions of the Federalists and Anti-Federalists on the new Constitution? Provide at least two details supporting why each side supported or did not support the new Constitution.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

The Federalists believed in a loose interpretation of the Constitution, while the Anti-Federalists believed in a strict interpretation. Anti: "I'm not sure that this decision is constitutional." Federalist: "Well, the Constitution doesn’t say we \(\color{red}{can't}\) do it."

Can I have another example (not talking but of something that explains it too) @confluxepic

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anti federalists believed that the new constitution didn't protect the rights of the common people. That's why, after a lot of arguments and debates, federalists (national gov) decided to add the bill of rights. That's one of them. Federalists with likes of Alexander Hamilton believed in a national bank.
