OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Did you try plugging it in and continuing?

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

So we know \(\Large a_{1}=6\) right? Well if we try and find \(a_{2}\) we get: \(\Large a_{2}=-7+a_{2-1}\) The \(\Large a_{2-1}\) is just \(\Large a_{1}\) So: \(\Large a_{2}=-7+a_{1}\) Which is -7+6, which is -1

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

So we have \(\Large a_{1}=1\) and \(\Large a_{2}=-1\)

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

\(\Large a_{3}=-7+a_{2}\) \(\Large a_{3}= -8\) \(\Large a_{4}=-7+a_{3}\) \(\Large a_{4}=-15\) Think you can find \(\Large a_{5}\)?
