solve and check for extraneous answers 5/(x^3+5x^2)=4/(x+5)+1/(x^2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to solve the denominator out of it to become the numerator, need help to do so.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to find the greatest common denominator, which I am having difficulty successfully doing so. Is it x^3+5x^2+x+5, the greatest of all x exponent numbers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@campbell_st could you possibly help me with this, after you're done with your current?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you need a drawing for it if all the ()'s were hard to read through?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

it makes sense ok... so looking at the left hand side, the denominator factors to x^2(x + 5) you need to multiply every term by that... then you will have a quadratic equation to solve... hope it helps

thank you!
