how can you tell the 5 types of Point of View apart

OpenStudy (nobodyssalvation):

You can tell the differences between points of view first by the pronouns being used, and second by the amount of inner occurrences that take place that the reader is exposed to. FIRST PERSON uses "I" or "We." It will make the reader the narrator. SECOND PERSON uses "You." It will make the reader feel as though someone is telling a story about the reader to them. THIRD PERSON uses "He," "She," "It," or "They." This is an outside point of view; the narrator/spectator perspective. This P.O.V does not include the feelings or thoughts of the characters, only actions. THIRD PERSON LIMITED is like third person but also gives the thoughts and feelings of one character. THIRD PERSON OMNICIENT is also like third person and third person limited but instead gives the thoughts and feelings of all characters. It makes the reader an omniscient spectator to the story.
