predicate nominative means a word in the nominative case that completes a copulative verb, such as son in the sentence jason is my son, so which do you think it is? and i'm not sure this is math :)

OpenStudy (rianiscool):

i don't know what is is that is why i am asking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Maby this will help will help "a word in the nominative case that completes a copulative verb"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so if predicate nominative means a "word" in the nominative case that completes a "copulative" verb "SUCH as SON in the sentence; Jason is my son." do you understand now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So i think it is A Cat

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I might be wrong

OpenStudy (rianiscool):

i think the answer is d pet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well it definitely can't be moody because that isn't a word in the nominative case that completes a copulative verb, and it can't be gray either. so it either has to be A or D choose your best answer :)

OpenStudy (rianiscool):

cat is a noun and pet describes it,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know what copulative verbs mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i still think it is A just saying i might be wrong like i said.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it's A

OpenStudy (rianiscool):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
