WILL MEDAL AND FAN! The ideas of Montesquieu, a French writer, influenced the Founding Fathers to create a government where no one person or part had too much power. Why did this idea appeal to the Founding Fathers? A) They had experienced the rule of a tyrant. B) They liked the way Louis XVI governed France. C) They wanted to make sure government was powerful. D) They believed Montesquieu's plan was the best.

Yes I agree with D. Montesquieu believed in separation of powers, which the founding fathers did to the US. The most likely did get this idea from him and therefore I think D would be the most logical answer. :)
