help with this problem please!

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

a line that is perpendicular will have a negative reciprocal of the given slope. \(m_{p} = -\frac{1}{m}\)

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

Once you find that out you can use your point \((6~,-5)\) and \(m_p\) to find the equation of your new line. \(y-y_{1} = m_p(x-x_1)\)

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

@Werewolfprincess Okay, you posted the problems. I don't see any of your work.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because I have no clue what to do !!

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

Did you find your perpendicular slope yet?

Nnesha (nnesha):
