In this context, should I use have or had? They both sound good to me. One of the hockey players have/had a short temper.

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

I think it should be has, but in here with the 2 options given, it would be had.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I meant to say have/has

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorry, my bad...

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Oh ok, then it would be has.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, that's what I was thinking but they both sounded correct to me. Thank you for your help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you think about this one? Has/have the panel of judges made a decision?

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm just not sure

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Think about it this way. Has the panel made a decision? Have the panel made a decision?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Has sounds better now

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

\(\LARGE\cal\color{magenta}{Correct!}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yay! Thank you again :)
