Before I give you guys the question. How do you do the 45-45-90 theorem because that is confusing me. http://i.imgur.com/YmAEe1F.png I would like some explaining on what to do please.

Directrix (directrix):

I attached a diagram of the theorem. If you have a 45-45-90 theorem, the hypotenuse is square root 2 times the leg length. If you have the hypotenuse length on the same type triangle and need the leg length, then divide the hypotenuse by square root of 2.
