write an algerbraic expression for 6 more than the product of 8 and n and solve it. how would I do that? 6>8n^2

OpenStudy (emmamink):

idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You have your symbols wrong. In this case the term "more" refers to addition. You got product of 8 and n right but not seeing where you got ^2 from.

I though when u used n you had to square it and how would I solve it add 6 and 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be 6+8n and now im on a different one and its 45=3b+69 it would equal 8 correct

There comes a time in a math course where you do something like that while doing the quadratic formula. We won't be using that for this problem. Do you have your new algebraic expression yet?

Sorry for the late reply don't forget your negative on your second answer I don't see any other errors in it.
