If parallelogram JKLM is rotated 270° clockwise around the origin, what are the coordinates of the endpoints of the side congruent to side KL in the image parallelogram? K'(-4, -6); L'(3, -3) K'(-6, -4); L'(-3, -3) K'(6, 4); L'(3, 3) K'(-4, 6); L'(-3, -3)

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

i gotta put the attachment up

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

@ganeshie8

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

@dan815

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

@sashadqaf

OpenStudy (dan815):

going 270 degrees clockwise is same as 90 degrees CCW

OpenStudy (dan815):

counter clock wise

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

wait what? that doesnt answer my question

OpenStudy (dan815):

sry i did not read around the origin part

OpenStudy (dan815):

http://prntscr.com/5cetyw

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

is the link supposed to bring up something with the answer?

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

@Babyjoker001

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

@iGreen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its the last one sweetie ... I dont know what that kid is saying

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

:) couple more...

OpenStudy (igreen):

90 degrees clockwise is (y, -x). Just do that 3 times.

OpenStudy (igreen):

@Babyjoker001 Don't give answers.

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

and shoot i gave him a medal too sry:( i cant give u one

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

just kidding:)

OpenStudy (igreen):

K: (-4, 6) (y, -x) = (6, 4) (y, -x) = (4, -6) Can you do it one more time? @M3GA-BIT3

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

do what?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Do the transformation. (y, -x)

OpenStudy (igreen):

Btw, just to let you know. @Babyjoker001 's answer is wrong.

OpenStudy (igreen):

@M3GA-BIT3

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

..........:0 god open study..... who do u trust the cute dude with abs on his pic or the one with igreen as his name.....:/

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

@iGreen im just trying to get through skool....i have a whole semesters work to get done but i came late...theres alot going on for me right now and at the moment i dont even kno how to freakin transfer it

OpenStudy (igreen):

Um..I can tell you for sure that his answer is wrong. Btw, you should trust the SmartScore's, I have a SmartScore of 99(pretty much the highest you can get), and he has a SS of 58.

OpenStudy (igreen):

Now, do you want to work through this and learn something, or do you want to take the risk of getting the answer wrong?

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

work through it:/

OpenStudy (igreen):

Okay, then. Can you finish transforming it? You have (4, -6) which is in the form of (x, y). You want to make this transformation (y, -x) So you're going to take the second number and put it first, and put the first number last, and make it negative..what do you get?

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

(6, -4)

OpenStudy (igreen):

Not quite, you keep -6 the same..which gives you (-6, -4). So you know your first point is (-6, -4). Do you see any other options with that in it?

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

ya but where are they getting...the 3,3?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Oh, that's for point L, but we don't need to find that..because there is only one option that has (-6, -4) in it.

OpenStudy (igreen):

L: (-3, 3) (y, -x) = (3, 3) (y, -x) = (3, -3) (y, -x) = (-3, -3) So we have: K = (-6, -4) and L = (-3, -3) :D

OpenStudy (m3ga-bit3):

ohhh ok:) i need to go but ill have more questions later

OpenStudy (igreen):

Okay, bye.
