how are amino acid chains made?

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

Through translation. The chain of mRNA is a series of codons (a set of 3 DNA bases). The codons have an opposite called anticodons which are carried on tRNA. So for example, the mRNA is ACG, the anticodon would be TGC. When the tRNA brings the andicodon it drops off an amino acid which attaches and continues to grow. Hope this helped somewhat :)
