how do i find the derivative on ln(x/x-1)?

OpenStudy (jtvatsim):

you might use the chain rule

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

derive the ln(x/(x-1) ) as if it was just ln(x). (and I hope you know the derivative of ln(x) ) and then, multiply it times the derivative of x/(x-1). (by a quotient rule)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

If need help proving something or knowing... ask.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im confused how to find the derivative with ln because it is a fraction
