PLEASE HELP ME

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Maybe post the problem first.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

There it goes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the link @TheSmartOne

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

@TheSmartOne @~

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

It is perpendicular.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

@welligya... https://www.desmos.com/calculator

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

You put a 3 slope and put a reciprocal to -1/3x.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

You don't need to post the questions anymore. You can put your equation in to Desmos and see how the lines look to get your answers.

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

Vice versa, -1/3x = 3 in reciprocal.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Unless yu want to make sure your answer is correct :D

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

@welligya... I like to use a graphing calculator for this type of problem. Are you allowed to use one for this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea perpendicular.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry im not good at these

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

@dtan5457 Please guide the user to the answer from next time. I don't want to see you get suspended for giving direct answers because it is against the CoC. http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

@TheSmartOne I just joined a few days ago, but is it ok to give an answer and explain down the line? I wasn't aware of this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Yes I guess, but usually the mods want you to interact with the user. So you need to ask them questions so that you make sure they learn. It is just that I wanted to bring it to your atention.

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

@TheSmartOne I will try, but sometimes it's hard to do that as I tend to answer questions with explanation but along with the answer. Sometimes, the asker can take forever to reply so it's hard to keep up with them.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Yes in that case the explanation is fine. But give the explanation and then the answer :D

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

@TheSmartOne Will do. Thanks for that.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

No problem :D
