What is the standard form of the equation of a circle with its center at (2, -3) and passing through the point (-2, 0)?

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

Well for the first part of the equation, the circle formula starts with the center.

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^=radius^2

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

So if the center is 2,-3. Plug it in. (x-2)^+(y+3)^2=
