Need some help with Sequences?

OpenStudy (conqueror):

The first four terms of a sequence are shown below: 7, 4, 1, -2 Which of the following functions best defines this sequence? f(1) = 7, f(n + 1) = f(n) + 3; for n ≥ 1 f(1) = 7, f(n + 1) = f(n) - 3; for n ≥ 1 f(1) = 7, f(n + 1) = f(n) - 4; for n ≥ 1 f(1) = 7, f(n + 1) = f(n) + 4; for n ≥ 1

Directrix (directrix):

So, I'm thinking that f(1) = 7, f(2) = 4, f(3) = 1, and f(4) = -2 Question for you: What do you "do" to 7 to get 4 that you also do to 4 to get 1 that you also do to 1 to get -2. By "do," I mean a specific number you add or subtract. @Conqueror

Directrix (directrix):

Subtract what?
