graph x=-4

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

lets make a brief observation about the graph, before we put our hands on a graphic calculator. Usually, you know the points are (x,y). Like (2,4) (-4,5) (2,0) and on... you know what a point is right? Here, the y-value of the point is always the same, since no matter what you plug in for x, into the \(\large\color{blue}{ x=-4}\), you will get that x is -4. So, your points are going to be \(\large\color{blue}{ (-4,0)}\) \(\large\color{red}{ (-4,-3)}\) \(\large\color{blue}{ (-4,100)}\) \(\large\color{red}{ (-4,-203)}\) \(\large\color{blue}{ (-4,1)}\) no matter what y is, x is -4. so the graph is going to be just hitting all the points where x is -4.

Lets make an attempt to draw this....|dw:1417642596480:dw|all of your points will have x-value of -4.
