Points A and B lie on the graph of the equation y = 5.2x. What are the y-coordinates for each point? Point A: (−6, ?) Point B: (7, ? )

I have no clue, I thought I did!

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

oh lol thx thou

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

@samson245

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All you do is graph it y=5.2x, then find where it reaches each x-axis coordinate given, and note it's y-axis coordinate from that point to find the y-axis coordinates that are being solved for.

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

okay so im guesing for a is(-6,1) right

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

well if you use y=mx+b then y=5.2(slope)x + 0 so y intercept is 0 and then just graph it to figure out that A:(-6,31.2) and B:(7,36.4) @samson245 is this right?
