The common point here is the intersection between the two linear lines. This is where they will cross on the graph, but also, where you can substitute in (x, y) in to the the x and y in both equations and it be true. Go ahead and start with A. and plug in 5 as x and 9 as y into the equations and evaluate them and see if it is true.
