ok so the baseline you have to pay is 7.75. for every ride you go on, you have to pay 0.5, which we're going to represent as 0.5r. so 7.75 + 0.5r is what we have so far. we only have $15 so we can only spend at most $15. so\[7.75 + 0.5r \le15\]
then, to get r by itself, we're gonna first subtract 7.75 from both sides\[0.5r \le7.25\]then divide both sides by 0.5\[r \le14.5\] and since you can't ride half a ride, we have to round down to 14 so\[r \le 14\]
