HELP PLZ WILL FAN AND MEDAL How many times larger is 1 x 10^4 than 1x 10^3???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, each exponent means how many times you multiply that number by 10^4 would be 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 and 10^3 would be 10 x 10 x 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10 times larger. 10000/1000=10

OpenStudy (ericanoel912):

Thank you so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so yeah, 9000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to get that answer you need to find the difference: the larger minus the smaller
