OpenStudy (anonymous):

A run-on is a sentence in which two or more independent clauses (i.e., complete sentences) are joined without appropriate punctuation or conjunction.

OpenStudy (smored):

D is run on because when used a comma between two independent clauses, there should be a conjunction after it (e.g and, but, or)

OpenStudy (smored):

if there is no conjunction between two independent clauses, there should be a semicolon.
