The standard normal curve shown here is a probability density curve for a continuous random variable. This means that the area underneath the entire curve is 1. What is the area of the shaded region between the two z-scores indicated in the diagram? A. 0.7188 B. 0.7864 C. 0.1131 D. 0.7068 E. 0.1151
For this, we'll need to evaluate the normal variable distribution between -1.26 and 0.88
For example, between -1 and 1, it will be 66% or so, between -2 and 2 it's about 95%...I can remember those off the top of my head, but for the exact value here, we need to look up a table, or in a calculator capable of this.
can u explain what that is i dont understand
?
I've seen have ppl use a z-table to look up the values. You just look up the values in a table and add them together
so look up 1.2 and .8 and the numer they share on the table is the answer?
Yep
i cant find .8 on the chart it goes to .09? what do i do?!
help! !!!!
@geerky42 can u help me with this?
what was the answer?
