OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

you can find each probability, can't you?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

if you don't understand a part of the statement ask.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I really never understood statements

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

like for the first statement. (P means probability) it is saying that: (you have,) 1) P( age b/w 25 and 35 | hemoglobin level b/w 9 and 11) \(\large\color{black}{\ne }\) P(age b/w 25 and 35) what it is saying, that `out of all people who are aged b/w 25 and 35, the P to have a Hemoglobin level b/w 9 and 11` is NOT the same P (the same value) as `out of all of the people (just all people) the P of people from all age groups, that are aged b/w 25 and 35.`

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

TO answer if the first statement is true or false, Find 2 things: 1) the probability, that a person randomly selected from all of the people, is going to be of an age group b/w 25 and 35. 2) the probability, that a person will have a Hemoglobin level b/w 9 and 11, selecting any random person out of a 25-35 age group.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

the first statement, is the right side, and the second statement is the left side.
