Shouldn't some rules or guidelines be created for each subject? For instance, If you are in the Music Section, There is a link, tab, etc. that shows the Music Section Rules Same with Openstudy Feedback There will be a tab/link that says Openstudy Feedback rules, and takes you to something related to the CoC So instead of people having to open up questions about " Music Section Rules" or "Openstudy Feedback Rules" They will all be able to be easily accessed and will be able to show users not to spam, or what types of questions to ask/not to ask.
I sugested a 200 character area right above "Ask a question" to give the short form of what the area was about. A way to expand that to more would also be nice.
If you see what I mean with the Music Section http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/5476e547e4b013982de9ce52
Did it ever go through?
Like, as in did they adopt the idea and started working on it?
Well, the music section has the original rules post, which others have kept alive through other means because the bump limit has been exceeded. Next bump is like in a year and a half. As for what they adopted, dunno.
Yes but wouldn't it be better rather than continually bumping it, but to be able to access it on the screen like the CoC
Yes, which is why I suggested a short form. And as I said, that would also be a good place for a link to pop up a full explanation.
Well right now in the music section there are like 5 posts with the music rules open at teh moment...
This would be something great so everyone has access to the rules of that certain subject, and know what is or isn't allowed to post
OS will need to have like a whole more bunch of documents besides the TaC and the CoC. We will need the SR (Subject rues) and have TSOR (ThSmartOne's Rules).
:P
I suggested something popping up saying, "You are in {section here}. You can view the rules in this section by clicking here."
ohh yaa i forgot to post about that in my prezi @TheSmartOne
when people post tinychats in os it annoys people
But why post sites like that when you know that people will saay No but if you keep doing it people will report you and you will get notified by the MODS
here's a design section one http://openstudy.com/users/thomaster#/updates/538c3de1e4b062ccf95a8536
