how do sex cells differ from all other cells

Hey there! Welcome to OpenStudy :) Sex cells are different in chromosome number from other cells. Sex cells are haploid in nature i.e they have only one set of chromosomes but other cells called as somatic cells are diploid i.e they have two sets of chromosomes.

For example, in humans, sex cells have 23 chromosomes while other cells have 46 chromosomes.
