@Secret-Ninja
Hey are you busy?
Read this passage about seals and sea lions and then answer the question that follows: From a distance, they both look like seals, but once you get up close you can actually see the difference. Seals and sea lions are both fish-loving mammals. Moreover, handy flippers propel them both through the water. But while seals have a tiny opening on the side of their heads, sea lions have actual earflaps. Furthermore, sea lions use their back flippers like feet to scoot along the beach. On the other hand, seals must wriggle and roll to get ahead. On the whole, when you visit a zoo or theme park, it's the honking, barking, funny sea lion you're likely to find playing to the crowds for fishy treats, earflaps and all. In the passage about seals and sea lions, which transition is used to add an idea? However Moreover On the whole While
Thats wrong B is wrong I choose that answer it wasnt right.
It's probably however because the connotation for however is that you're contradicting something, therefore adding more ideas to the paragraph.
hmm, I will medal if i get this right.

You dont know?
1. But (Sorry my computer froze) Hope that is right
I'm pretty sure it is because after they use the transition they make a contrasting statement that seals have something different than sea-lions. Answer 4 is incorrect because after they use that transition statement, they say a comparison. The rest of the answers are also contrasting, but I think that they are just adding on to answer 1.
ok
Can you help me with some more questions

Sorry i posted 2 times
3 or 4
i would pick 4
I think it may be 4.
You agree?
ok
Yes because there was no emphasis that you would be more likely to see the sea-lions in the zoos. Therefore, it's not emphasizing an idea.
Which transition is the best choice to complete the bolded sentence? Some people are born superstars, really! Michael Phelps, the Olympic swimmer is a perfect example. ______ his hands and feet are bigger than normal, which helps him move quickly through the water. ___ he can reach his arms higher above his head than can other swimmers. Some people argue, ____, that because he has natural advantages over other swimmers, it was not fair that he won eight gold medals in 2008. 1. Consequently 2.First of all 3.For the same reason 4. The first one would be 2.
Only 1option
Then it would be 1. 1 fits all of the sentences provided. (I can't sit here and do your homework for you...)
