Hey, I need some help :D A line has a slope of -1/2 and a y-intercept of 3. Which equations represent the line? Choose all answers that are correct. 1. 2y = 6 + x 2. x+ 2y = 6 3. y = -1/2x + 3 4. (y - 2) = -1/2 (x - 2)

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The slope is missing. Is it a fraction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, indeed it is.

slope-intercept form: y = mx + b. Where m represents the slope and b represents the y-intercept. Hope that helps. I can't give you the answer seeing how I don't know what the slope is, however I have a pretty good feeling that the answer is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-1/2 sorry

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Just replace m with -1/2 and b with 3 in the equation y = mx + b
