the title relates to the poem about people trying to escape a corrupted place to strugle through no matter what. also the way that what ever happens doesnt matter because what ever war/battle happends it would never end.

ok so there is a war going on many people trying to escape to live but people are struggling to escape

and the war feels like it's unending

when it says the land turns black and bare that represents that there lands were ruined by there enemies and people were left with no homes the theme of the poem is that through it all why would people have these arguments that end up being a war and tradgic chouse
