Which is the graph of the line with equation: y – 6 = 4(x – 3) + 2
y=4x-6
Here are the graphs: http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1280500_1281000/1280837/1/e9213825a9988f91089a5b68e347b477f6d63923/HS_A1G2_S1_07_00_MUT_201050_A.jpg http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1280500_1281000/1280838/1/be75f818d62caac46febd899ef43f9fb29c67a8e/HS_A1G2_S1_07_00_MUT_201050_B.jpg http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1280500_1281000/1280839/1/286ec3af250315e86022942d6f2acd7f02c0add2/HS_A1G2_S1_07_00_MUT_201050_C.jpg http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1280500_1281000/1280839/1/286ec3af250315e86022942d6f2acd7f02c0add2/HS_A1G2_S1_07_00_MUT_201050_C.jpg
Are you sure about that? Like, how did you get that answer? @Ednac
i mean y=4x. -4
y=4x-4
yurn it into slope intercept
So y equals -4?
If so, then is x 1 or 2?
no y does not =-4
the first graph is correct because it demonstrates y=4x-4
And how did you get the equation y = 4x - 4?
well you know that slope intercept form is y=mx+b
so get y by itself
and do the arithmetic
I tried but failed...
So then the first graph is correct? And did you check the other graphs, just in case?
