List the planets (and Pluto) with any form of water on them or in their atmosphere including solids, liquids, and gasses.

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

Mercury - No water. (Too close to the Sun!) Venus - No water. (too close to the Sun!) Earth - This planet has all forms of water, liquid in our oceans, gasses in our clouds, and solids at our frozen poles. Mars - No water found yet. Jupiter - Ice is found on Jupiter's moons, but not on the planet itself. Saturn - Deep in the atmosphere, beneath the thick layers of gas, it has a core layered with ice. Uranus - Just like Neptune, it is referred to as an Ice Giant because of its frozen layer of water mixture. Neptune - Has a frozen layer of a substance mixed with water. (often referred to as an Ice Giant.) Pluto - Pluto is thought to be made of mostly ice on the surface and have a rocky core.

All of the planets have water in there atmosphere except Jupiter.

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

@Secret-Ninja I be to differ, Mars does have a small polar ice cap in its north pol. its no larger than a school building so its not a lot.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Except that Pluto isn't a planet anymore...

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):
