what is the syntax of this passage below: Your mother and I never talked about the past, that’s the rule. I go to the door when she using the bathroom, and she never looks over my shoulder when I’m writing, those are to more rules. I open doors for her but never touch her back as she passes through, she never lets me watch her cook, she folds my pants but leaves my shirts by the ironing board, I never light candles when she’s in the room, but I do blow candles out.

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

There's probably more than one syntax in that VERY long passage. Any options?

It is actually a book (extremely loud and incredibly close) and we have to take passages from this book and do the tone all that

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

*very loud sigh*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is this little passage hard...should I just find another one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

No, no I can still try.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay:)

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

"When she was using the bathroom" is one of them I think.

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

"When I'm writing" is another.

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

As she passes through?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is significant about them though

OpenStudy (kyanthedoodle):

Hmm...Well, nothing really, just that they're syntaxes I guess.
