B. frio

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is C.

OpenStudy (alfonso-o):

Hello: I'd note that "frio" and "calor" are nouns, and therefore are not possible after "esta" (from verb "to be") when talking about the weather. "Templado" is an adjective and therefore possible, but you cannot use it again (it is used at the beginning of the sentence). So we are left with "lloviznando". This is a gerund (which corresponds to -ing forms in English: "drizzling"), and it makes pefect sense when used with "esta". Together they give you a present continuous verb form: "Esta lloviznando." = It is drizzling. Hope this helps! Blessings (Note: Sorry I'm not including accents, as an error shows up when I do.)
