OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Sunshine447 what do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe it would be B because it is in the Florida constitution because it was finished in 1968. English because Section 9 states "SECTION 9. English is the official language of Florida.— (a) English is the official language of the State of Florida. (b) The legislature shall have the power to enforce this section by appropriate legislation."

Charles Schenck was a U.S. citizen and private in the Army. While in military training during World War I, Schenck printed and passed out leaflets explaining why he was against the draft (required military service). He was charged with violating the Espionage Act of 1917, a federal law outlawing any action interfering with military operations. Schenck believed the Espionage Act violated his right to free speech. In which court would this case ultimately be decided, and why? A state criminal court, because Schenck was accused of violating a criminal law A military tribunal, because the matter involved members of the military A county civil court, because it involved violation of a civil liberty The U.S. Supreme Court, because Schenck challenged whether the law was constitutional

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you think @Sunshine447?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would b be right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it wouldn't be D because you never go straight to Supreme Court

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, so then which one, b?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Sunshine447 would it be b?????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually, I just looked it up and I think it is D because it must have been early enough in history to go directly to the Supreme Court. I'd go with D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

last one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
