I need help understanding a possibly simple Geometry question.

What do you not understand?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

This question needs careful thinking. Apart from understanding how dilation works, which I assume you know, you will need to understand the definition of a line (and the difference between a line and a line segment). For the definition of a line, try https://www.mathsisfun.com/definitions/line.html and the definition of a line segment: https://www.mathsisfun.com/definitions/line-segment.html If you don't see the difference between the two, post. All math start from definitions. If the definitions are not understood correctly, confusion will eventually take over.

I know the difference between the two, line segments have ends, however, lines do not.

So do you see any movement of the line K'L' from KL, i.e. any translation or rotation?

Nevermind, I just submitted it and got 8/10 because I have to go to work
