@Michele_Laino ?
ok!
=)
do you know how to solve the equation below: \[x ^{2}-x-6=0\]
I'm sorry, not really... =(
why?
does your teacher explained the quadratic equations?
I think so, but I'm so bad at math, I can't ever remember things. I'm very sorry.
Ok1 never mind, please when we have a quadratic equation, namely: \[ax ^{2}+bx+c=0\] then in order to find its solutions we have to apply this formula: \[x=\frac{ -b \pm \sqrt{b ^{2}-4*a*c} }{ 2*a }\] be careful there are two signs, namely +/-, because you have to evaluate them one a time
Oh, alright.
now, please write the coefficient a, b, c comparing your equation , namely x^2-x-6=0, with the equation ax^2+bx+c=0
Okay, I think I got it from here. That's where I usually get confused. Thanks again!! =)
is it all ok?
Yes, thank you.
thank you!
please, can I go for helping another student or you need help?
Yes, you cann go. Thank you for your help!
thanks again!
