Explain each stage of star lifecycle
This is a beautiful question
Hey there! You probably didn't notice but you posted your Physics question in Biology section. Please post your questions in relevant sections, in this way you'll also get help faster. Posting questions in irrelevant sections is considered as spamming. Thank you.
Still going to answer it haha. Stars start of forming in cold, dense molecular clouds. (stellar nurseries) |dw:1418449629009:dw| this is a failed attempt at the stellar nebula Over time, some millions of years, a contracting cloud begins its transformation into a star when the core starts trapping energy (thermal) released by gravitational contraction. Pressure keeps getting added and eventually it turns into a protostar, and more time passes by and angular momentum causes the protostar to spin rapidly forming a protostellar disk. |dw:1418449906885:dw| eventually the temperature begins to rise causing radiative contraction and eventually self sustaining fusion takes place (balance rate of radiative energy escaping). Eventually the star settles into its hydrogen burning life. I can go more so in depth, all you have to do is ask. So I hope this helped, take care!
