Select the answer that is the best example of a central idea for the following stanza: Continuous as the stars that shine And twinkle on the milky way, They stretched in never-ending line Along the margin of a bay: Ten thousand saw I at a glance, Tossing their heads in a sprightly dance. Wordsworth counted the daffodils and found that there were ten thousand. There are many stars in the sky, and there were also many daffodils in the field. There were so many daffodils that they looked like stars or people at a party. <-- my choice It is impossible to understand how far away the field of daffodils reached.
I'm actually leaning more towards the last choice because it says they "stretched in a never-ending line", meaning infinite or impossible to determine the amount. It doesn't refer to the daffodils as people at a party, but rather only the heads of the daffodils tossing their heads (likely due to the wind).
oh thank god i made sure other wise i would have got it wrong thnx!
