the sum of the exterior angles of a polygon witn N sides is: 360 degrees
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so would i use the S=(n-2)180??
OpenStudy (danjs):
no that is the sum of the interior angles , the exterior angles always add up to 360
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ohhhhh xP

u get it now?

would I take one of the equations like 14x+6=360? or am I not thinking this right?
OpenStudy (lunymoony):
is A the "6x - 3" one?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yeahhhh
OpenStudy (danjs):
A +B +C +D +E = 360

6x + 3 +4x + 8 +49 + 3x + 30 + 14x + 6 = 360
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so i would combine like terms?
OpenStudy (danjs):
27x + 96 = 360
OpenStudy (lunymoony):
wait, how did you get 96?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
okay thanks!!!! :) and combining like terms

@babygurl47672 Sorry is your result x=40/3
OpenStudy (michele_laino):
namely, the right result, please?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
hold up my quiz didn't save any of my answers
OpenStudy (michele_laino):
@babygurl47672 I used the formula for internal angle, namely
sum of amplitude of internal angle=(n-2)*180, and I got for x this value:
x=40/3, please check
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I will hold on! :)

@babygurl47672 Thanks!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so x=10 right? jw
OpenStudy (danjs):
Whatever X is , you then need to sub that into angle A which is 6x-3
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I got that angle A=57
OpenStudy (michele_laino):
not properly, for example for first angle I have considered this:
180-(14x+6) and so on for other angles.
In other words I have performed my calculus with internal angles not external angles
