OpenStudy (ivancsc1996):

Can somebody explain to me the following statement found in Dirac's General Theory of Relativity?

OpenStudy (ivancsc1996):

If the curvature tensor is equal to zero, we could shift a vector by parallel displacement from x to x+dx and then to x+dx+(delta)x and it would be the same as first going from x to x+(delta)x and then to x+(delta)x+dx

OpenStudy (dan815):

as long as the curvature tensor is zero it doesnt mater if ur parallel vector is shifted by dx first or delta x

OpenStudy (ivancsc1996):

Yeah but why?
