simplify

OpenStudy (kobeni-chan):

First, you want to find the GCF's of each numerator and each denominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would that be 12? @kobeni-chan

OpenStudy (kobeni-chan):

For the first numerator, yes. It'll give you 12(x-8). You'll have to find the GCF for the other numerator too, and factor the trinomials for the denominators in the (x__)(x__) format

@kobeni-chan im not sure

OpenStudy (kobeni-chan):

Well, when you take the 12 out of the numerator, 12x/12 = x, and -96/12 = -8 So you can put them together for (x-8), and keep 12 on the outside for 12(x-8)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kobeni-chan so what woukd the answer be

OpenStudy (kobeni-chan):

To get the answer, you need to finish factoring, I'm trying to help you get the answer that way you can apply it to other problems

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kobeni-chan okay then can you help me because im timed

OpenStudy (kobeni-chan):

ok hold on
