What would happen if photosynthesis on Earth stopped? All plants and animals would die due to the absence of oxygen and carbohydrates (glucose) for respiration. All plants would die as they wouldn't be able to produce carbohydrates, while animals would survive because they don't carry out photosynthesis. All plants and animals would survive as they can carry out respiration, despite the absence of photosynthesis.

Well if the plants couldn't make their own food, they'd die. If the plants die, Then no oxygen. No oxygen means death of every thing that needs it. PLANT ALL THE PLANTS!

The answer is A. Plants need photosynthesis to make energy, and without that process they'll die. Plants produce oxygen, so anything that requires oxygen would die as well.
