The perimeter P(t) is a function of the number of tiles t. Write a rule for the data in your table.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What does it mean by rule?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its The perimeter times the number of tiles if that's what it means.

OpenStudy (triciaal):

The perimeter is the sum of the lengths all around a figure. example for a circle it would be the circumference = 2*pi*r where r is the radius example if it is a square all the lengths are the same so 4l where l is the length of one side example a rectangle perimeter 2l + 2l where l is the length and w is the width I don't see your figure so I don't know what shape

OpenStudy (triciaal):

sorry not a figure. the data in the table will tell what figure

OpenStudy (triciaal):

I don't have the table with the data

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (triciaal):

since you are referencing tiles it might be a rectangle or square you are welcome

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you should medal her :)
