help me please

OpenStudy (xxhomeworkhelperxx):

With what?

OpenStudy (josedavid):

OpenStudy (xxhomeworkhelperxx):

Sorry dude I have No Clue

OpenStudy (xxhomeworkhelperxx):

Wish I could Help..

OpenStudy (josedavid):

same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need the slope and the y intercept, both of which you find with your eyeballs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you see where the line crosses the y axis?

OpenStudy (josedavid):

@amistre64 @Alchemista @AuroraB @AngelPSP @AndrewTheCookie @ashhhrodriguez @satellite73 @saifoo.khan @sammixboo @sleepyjess @Skyz @sweetburger @dan815 @Demonx341 @dmndlife24 @Donblue22 @damara1213 @danish071996 @fallenangelorchid @fantasiablueskys @faye0422 @fiat21 @flydiva @Gravity_Dreams @Ganpat @gazed @GinnyParis13 @G-6a6y

OpenStudy (josedavid):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where?

OpenStudy (josedavid):

where is said 6 and 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

er no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is only one y intercept, where the line crosses the y axis only one place on the graph |dw:1418830573444:dw|

OpenStudy (josedavid):

what

OpenStudy (josedavid):

that what i told u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you wrote "where is said 6 and 8" which i take to mean "where it said 6 and 8" but there is only one y intercept, only one place where the line crosses the y axis

OpenStudy (josedavid):

so i dont know where is that answer

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

there is the x axis and the y axis there is only point of intersection on this specific equation|dw:1418830759003:dw|

OpenStudy (josedavid):

so is a

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

the answer is not a

OpenStudy (josedavid):

dammit is hard

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

use this equation to find the slope m = y2-y1/x2-x1 then plug that value into y=mx+b and then looking at the graph it shows you the y- intercept and put that in y=mx+b replacing the b value.

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

this is really quite simple you just have to grasp it

OpenStudy (josedavid):

ohhh is d

OpenStudy (xxhomeworkhelperxx):

OMG Your Confsuing The MAN!

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

no its not d

OpenStudy (josedavid):

i know im lost please help

OpenStudy (xxhomeworkhelperxx):

xD

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

do you know the formula to find the slope?

OpenStudy (josedavid):

nope that what im learning u know what is b

OpenStudy (xxhomeworkhelperxx):

Ok Her'es what you need to do Put it in Term's that josedavid Here can Understand take it Step by Step. Sheesh...

OpenStudy (josedavid):

kk

OpenStudy (josedavid):

guys

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1418831344885:dw|

OpenStudy (josedavid):

ohh is b

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

why do you think its b?

OpenStudy (josedavid):

guys

OpenStudy (josedavid):

i dont know is hard i hate working

OpenStudy (xxhomeworkhelperxx):

Why are you asking him why It's B when yyour suppose to answer his Question

OpenStudy (xxhomeworkhelperxx):

Just Say'in...

OpenStudy (xxhomeworkhelperxx):

josedavid I think your Cool Man...

OpenStudy (josedavid):

:)

OpenStudy (josedavid):

thanks but is hard

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

@xXHomeworkHelperXx first off the answer is wrong I want to see his reasoning for why he picked that answer so i can help him get the correct answer

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

the slope of this line is negative you can tell by just looking at the line and seeing that it is decreasing now you did find teh correct slope value you just chose the wrong sign

OpenStudy (josedavid):

u already told me the answer is c

OpenStudy (xxhomeworkhelperxx):

OMG @sweetburger Your Profile Pic is just so Disturbing.. I can't look at it anymore O_O

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

yep at least you can do process of elimination, but if you didnt learn

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

@xXHomeworkHelperXx thats nice

OpenStudy (xxhomeworkhelperxx):

But I do Honor you for being an Human Calculator!!!

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

...

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

fyi this site is for learning how to accomplish problems not getting free answers

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

im out
