Let's define Feedback...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

According to Google Feedback means.. "information about reactions to a product, a person's performance of a task, etc., used as a basis for improvement."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

According to the Webster dictionary , feedback means... "helpful information or criticism that is given to someone to say what can be done to improve a performance, product, etc."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll run with Webster's definition.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is the Openstudy Feedback section. A place where your suppose to give, and i quote, "helpful information or criticism that is given to someone to say what can be done to improve a performance"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lately, there has been a lot of post in this section the has breached this terms. So, to whom ever may read this please try and follow the following rules...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*If you have suggestions for the site post them here. *if your having a problem finding or using the site, ask your question here *If you want to show your appreciation for the site, show it here in these post *If you create owls and want to share them, that can be done here (Approved by the CEO) pretty much if you have ANYTHING regarding "helpful information or criticism that is given to someone to say what can be done to improve a performance" post it in this section.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This section could also be used to acknowledge those who have hit a milestone with their smartscore (99, 100)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please DO NOT *Post questions here that are Math, Reading, writing, Biology, Science, etc *Post question like "Hi" or "Can i have a friend please"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Leave anything that's not FEEDBACK in the chatboxes below or if it's a question, ask it in the APPROPRIATE section.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

By breaking this terms I addressed, or any other terms will result in your inevitable suspension and/or ban.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

With the said, i'll quote something from the Code Of Conduct. Don't spam! Common forms of spam include: Posting a question multiple times within a short period of time. Posting a question that is off topic for a particular group (i.e. posting a physics question in the Mathematics group). Posting a reply that is not relevant to the topic of discussion within that question. Posting questions that are not, in fact, questions (for example, starting a question in the Mathematics group to wish someone "Happy Birthday"). Sending the same chat message repeatedly. Filing false abuse reports on a user repeatedly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Those are also rules that apply for the feedback section. ^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please use the feedback section for its REAL use and dont spam/troll out of some sense of self-satisfaction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Again, if you break My Coc, along with OS's CoC, it WILL result imminent suspension or Ban

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Question: Is this feedback ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@101 Indeed it is. This post is addressing a site conflict in hopes to create a solution. It's "helpful Information"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you all for reading, and have a nice rest of your day Openstudying!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You sound like old me. :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I made a post just like this.

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

Question: What about SmartScore goals, birthday wishes, and holiday wishes? I personally think only 99ss's are worth congratulating, and birthday/holiday ones have been done a lot even though they don't really have much to do with the actual site

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sleepyhead314 As i quote above, "This section could also be used to acknowledge those who have hit a milestone with their smartscore (99, 100)." And yes, you can use this section to acknowledge birthday's/ holidays. It's not feedback, but it was something approved by the Higher Authorities.

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

glad we got that cleared up, thank you @Night-Watcher :)

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

I already suggested a notice popping up every time you come in OS Feedback. The notice should have all the rules.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sleepyhead314 No problem :) @confluxepic It should, but the chances that people would actually read that and follow by it are unlikely.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\color{blue}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Night-Watcher This section could also be used to acknowledge those who have hit a milestone with their smartscore (99, 100) \(\color{blue}{\text{End of Quote}}\) Hear that? @101

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

owls in relation to the owl mascot competition is ok however owls overall would fit the design section

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

And now because of the breaks we will have a bunch of posts pop up saying that I am leaving OS for 2 weeks and all...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@TheSmartOne I would suggest that in these "go away" messages, the user gives their feedback about their experience on the site.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Very true. Now lets make this post a sticky @Night-Watcher @~
