I dont know how to work this out.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract 4 multiply by 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I didnt why would you subtract 4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cause of that fat 4 in front on the left i am trying to get rid of

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay so would I pull 2 into the equation and revers it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[4+\frac{y}{7}=2\] i just want \(y\) on the left, not \(4+\fra{7}{7}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not \(4+\frac{y}{7}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so to make that side \(y\) takes two steps a) subtract 4 b) multiply by 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[4+\frac{y}{7}=2\] what do you get when you subtract 4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry It x=14 my computer stopped working for a second

OpenStudy (anonymous):

site crashed, no it is not 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but that is not a choice anyway it is \(-14\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is what I ment :P
