Giving Medals to those who help!!!! Choose the point-slope form of the equation below that represents the line that passes through the point (-1, 6) and has a slope of -3. y - 6 = -3x - 3 y - 6 = -3(x + 1) y = -3x + 3 3x + y = 3

Nnesha (nnesha):

point slope form is \[y - y _{1} = m(x - x _{1})\] m is slope which is -3 and use point ( -1 ,6 ) as \[(x _{1} , y _{1})\]

Nnesha (nnesha):

so just replace m and x1 and y1 by there values

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't really get it

Nnesha (nnesha):

okay so what is your slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-3

Nnesha (nnesha):

|dw:1419013596035:dw| this is point slope form equation here m is slope
