West African peoples' diets suffered as European peoples began colonizing their land and taking the harvests. D.West African populations were severely depleted as a result of the loss of its citizens to slavery.
Any ideas?
@Zale101 Thinking A. but not sure...
What happened to the citizens of West Africa when Atlantic slave trade took place? They were forced into slavery, correct?
Yes @Zale101 So it would be B?
I would say D, because most of the Africans who were not enslaved had precious family members and friends who were close to them and they were forced to be in slavery. Many of west African citizens were kidnapped to slavery, so there was a severely big loss.
Yet, i'm not really sure as i have not looked in depth of the west African's condition where Atlantic slavery took place. But choice D looks reasonable to me.
@Zale101 can you help me with another one?
