Inequalitiles help!
@saifoo.khan @AriPotta
Julia is allowed to watch no more than 5 hours of television a week. So far this week, she has watched 1.5 hours. Write and solve an inequality to show how many hours of television Julia can still watch this week.

what is your attempt so far?
to set up the inequality
the information provided is very basic, what does your attempted setup lokk like
what attempt
oh i dont have one thats why i need someone to help me set up the inequality
in your own words, what does the information tell us?
so since shes allowed 5 hours of television and shes already watched 1.5 hours she has 3.5 hours left
well, she is allowed at most 5 hours, so she has at most 3.5 left is correct now, we are dealing with hours here so hours <= 5 is the basic information hours watched + hours left to watch should be less than or equal to 5 hours 1.5 + h <= 5
and youve already solved it as: h <= 3.5
thx! can you help with more?
dunno .. im pretty busy at the moment
@AriPotta @wio can u help me more?
good luck :)
thx
You are a member of your local movie theater's club. Every time you see a movie at the theather, you earn 2 points. When you earn 100 points, you get a free movie pass. Currently, you have 40 points. 1. Write an equation to model the number of movies m you have to watch before you get a free pass. 2. Solve the eqatuion. Show your work

:I no one?
2 points per movie would be 2m. You already have 40 points +40. Now, finish the inequality
i have 40 + m = 100?
is that correct?
Almost, 40+2m\(\ge\)100
oh thx! sleepy can u help me with one more?
Do you know how to solve it?
yes
Ok, and yes I can help with one more
ok ill make a new Q
